Automatic tags

DarkRef gives new references a title and tags for you, so you can find them by what's in them.

(17)Windows app, iPhone and iPadFree

How to

  1. Add references as usual. DarkRef tags each new one automatically, on your device.
  2. Open a reference to see the title, description and tags it was given.
  3. Search for something in the picture, like “tree” or “sunset”, to find it.

Tips

  • The Windows app writes a title, a description and tags. On iPhone and iPad you get a title and tags.
  • The first time, the Windows app downloads its tagging model, about 200 MB. On iPhone and iPad there's nothing to download.
  • The Mac app and the web app don't tag references themselves. With DarkRef Pro, they show the tags from your other devices.
  • It's on by default. To turn it off, open Settings and switch off Tag new references automatically.
  • Your own titles and tags always win over automatic ones.
